Mou Dasmahanta

Mou was born and brought up in West Bengal, India. She obtained her bachelor's degree from Bankura Christian College. She then pursued her Master's study at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, where she worked on Rh-catalyzed C–H activation and triazole chemistry under the guidance of Prof. Chandra Volla.
 
After finishing her Master's degree in summer 2025, Mou started her Ph.D. study at IU Bloomington. Here, she joined the Huang Group in January 2026. Her current research focuses on novel methods for post-synthetic modification of commodity polymers. In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing and cooking.
